I think sports is just one of those areas It's fully ingrained in the public psyche that women are inferior and that's why we segregate sports. It's easy to make the leap there and so it's an effective strategy. People who want to be allies should look past their gut reaction and check the data.

There's no dominance of women's sports by trans women. That alone should tell us that maybe those gut reactions are shaped by bias, not reality.
