Chin up lad. Like you and James have said many times, would rather this experience than scraping through the farmers European Cup or not in Europe at all. We were in the wilderness for years, so that fact we contest Champions League final stages is progress.
Thanks Andrew, not the best day to be an Arsenal blogger is it but good stuff as ever.
Nwaneri! Is he being punished for some unknown indiscretion, has he broken Arteta's BBQ, or caught trying to chat up his wife?
Why else has he been suddenly benched, it doesn't make sense to me.
Cheers mate.
Psg are the better side and have proven it over two legs. It's been painfully obvious Arsenal need an upgraded attack, but we've prioritised buying defenders like Ricardo when Skelly is better! Arteta needs better game management, subs are too late. Ethan should play more...Sterling is awful!!
Sad but so spot on. PSG made three signings in Jan, including Karatschkelia, to go with 3 others in the summer. Defo a bridge too far given our restraints and inactivity in the market.
It is hard to accept. We lost to 2 teams in the Champions league; Inter and PSG and they meet in the final. Pretty sore to see us at that level with a glaring weakness that should have been fixed
I’m sure Arteta’s comments about there being no better team than us In Europe will be misquoted and badged as arrogant. What else could he say on the record for his players ? The actual “League’ top 4 Inter, Barca, us with PSG replacing Liverpool were the semi finalists.
A reflection of how I feel. Our boys this morning were all sad and mopey and not wanting to go to school. Especially knowing the 'bantz' they'll be on the receiving end of!
That’s something Second Captains keep talking about; Rice needs to decide what player he is.
Though they are clearly still spicy about the Ireland thing
Yeah, and that’s what I shout at my iPhone when Ken Early goes on about it.
Thing is, Rice is an elite level player, as are Saliba and Saka, and don’t think some of the supporting cast are up to the same standards, even taking injuries into account.
Thanks Blogs, not easy to write that one. Ronay’s piece this morning much the same in what we can all see: ‘In the end the failure to turn all the other fine minutes of the last three years into pots and glory isn’t a mystery or a psychological condition. It’s a personnel issue.’
For what it’s worth, I always have the appetite to listen to you, win, lose or draw. You give comfort in your analysis and it stops me feeling alone in my sadness. #COYG
In all the years listening and reading your content, this is the 1st week i’ve not got through the Arsecast extra & im probably not going to listen to the Arsecast. Im too sad, so glad im working from home today

But the complete ice out is strange considering how light we are
The casual viewers and banter pundits will stick the boot into Arteta and the team but I think we are still on the upward trajectory.
I just need some contract extensions to make me feel better and to know this team can stay together.
We had so many chances over the two legs that we should have scored four or five.
Plus, we bought Merino to replace Partey and instead he’s having to play up front, which is ridiculous
