I notice that people tend to conflate “computABLE” with *being* a computation. In the same sense that idealists conflate being observable with being observed.

In some trivial sense, we can do a computation of some kind to represent any non-unary thing, but that doesn’t mean it “IS” a computation.

In the language of computation, the history of anything is an execution trace, not a function. Execution traces are constructive and generally not ergodic. I don't see any disagreement with classical physics being computational.
