Turbulent flight from Lourdes to Catania. The gaggle of post pilgrimage nonnas behind me all letting out collective shrieks. Lots of noisy praying and self crossing all around. Now to spend a few days in Sicily dodging volcanic eruptions, pickpockets and thunderstorms!
