My grandmother died of MERS at 42 in '87. Contractors from somewhere in the Middle East were asymptomatic when they visited the HP facility where her husband worked. *I* am genetically predisposed to my lungs shredding themselves just like hers did. MERS is brutal and vents don't always help.

MERS-COV outbreaks among health workers aren’t unheard of: it’s not great these coronaviruses exist, but this isn’t unprecedented. Best to keep an eye on it but not panic (and mask)

I thought the current status of MERS was NO human to human transmission.
If 'outbreaks among HCW' are happening, that suggests there is H2H transmission (even if it isn't currently spreading beyond hospitals).
