Being an immigrant in this country right now is risky enough. Hosting a public event for immigrants in a place with barely any security is an even bigger risk. That's all people are trying to say. ICE nor Trump care if you're legally here or not.

I agree, but they have no means to actually do much of anything here since it would be terribly hard to identify people and they did have con staff watching- but moreso watching for people with backlash. The post that OP originally cited that's deleted was the post con staff showed to the hosts...
