Just love that we all HATED the little chat icons on every single website even when they went to actual people (largely in India etc who didn’t speak the language of the customer) and now they can go to shitty AI that also can’t answer what we need.

Still waiting to be able to turn off AI results showing up on SERPs.

Gemini is a highly capable LLM that can provide a useful collection of links so you can go read original sources on topics you're not well-versed in, but AI results in search are TRASH.

There are great AI models for search - Perplexity being the best one I know of - but, ironically, not Google's Gemini.

If I secretly hated someone and they asked me what gen AI model to use, I'd tell them Gemini.
