founded a nonprofit to support other complex trauma survivors... realized 1 org wasn't enough... created the next evolution in social impact theory: Incubated Collective Impact... became a social entrepreneur to build it. Oh, I make hot sauce, too. He/him

Free throws Rick Barry, top five in NBA history in free throw percentage, shot them granny style. When Wilt hit for 100, he shot FTs granny style - went 28/32. Switched back to a regular FT shot the next game because he said it made him look like a sissy - ended with a 51% mark for his career.

So very hopeful for Perplexity's new Labs tool. It could be the proverbial great leap forward for accelerating development of our Incubated Collective Impact network of non-profits and benefit corporations supporting complex trauma survivors. opentools.ai/news/perplex...

Theocrats are such humorless folks (see "Vance, JD") that you really need to see their face when they say stuff like this. Have to see the sh!t-eating sneer to know if they're trying to be funny.

Most of US science is really not being burned down but rather just circuitously being privatized. I'll bet anything that elon and bezos already have their eyes on both the federal money allocated to space things and also who they want to hire from NASA and other federal agencies.

Disabled and neurodivergent folks are already treated with disdain - and it's usually worse than anything those pet owners have ever experienced. So yeah... do whatever you like because we're still going to continue finding incredible ways to craft AI/LLM tech into assistive tools regardless.

It's never not humorous to see religious zealot accounts be so willing to repeatedly demonstrate how intellectually dishonest they fundamentally are.

Cognitive bias for the win?

Acquired neurodivergence is an interesting concept in terms of mitigating the stigma of Complex PTSD. Nice and succinct (ADHD- and trauma-brain-friendly) piece on it by @kctregaryn.bsky.social tregaryn.com/2024/12/04/i...

I advocate for disabled, neurospicy, and/or otherwise vulnerable populations becoming proficient using generative AI tools to overcome challenges BUT... The tech is nowhere near ready to be used for single-episode or complex trauma recovery treatment. Wish it was, but it's just not.

One of the research goals of the collective impact network we are creating is to determine the connections between Complex PTSD, Autism, and ADHD. The comorbidity of these 3 is too extensive across across the population to merely be coincidental or purely an artifact of the environment /nurture.

Survivors of complex trauma are often very touchy about who we'll allow to see, let alone enter, our living space-- & we come by that protectiveness honestly. We need our safe spaces to be unequivocally safe, especially if lack of privacy was used to harm us in the past.

Started work on the front end of the pet care services app being developed by one of the benefit corporation graduates from our collective impact incubator. 50% of its profits will fund the complex trauma survivor pro se law clinic and other incubator candidates. So wild to see it coming together.

It's really not. When Dems bother fighting back with arguments, they easily win this issue every time. When they stick their head in the sand and ignore it, they lose.

One of the biggest mistakes I made during Complex PTSD recovery was suppressing anger instead of fully feeling and using it the way Mama Nature intended.

I can only strive to such levels of inconveniencing others
