Playing around with Sora for the first time, trying to make an image of trump's military birthday parade being rained out. By the way, I didn't realize that other people could search for it and 10 people downloaded it within like 3 minutes lol Will try to update it, suggestions welcome!

Man, that brings back memories of the Ecuador trip I took after grad school.

Lovely

Just a couple of old men watching the NBA Finals on a Friday night

I still have the knees to jump. I just don't have the knees to land. 🫠

Never ever ever FUCKING ever call the cops for a mental health wellness check. Cops are not trained for it and get super trigger-happy when they hear "mentally ill." And that's to say nothing of the bullies with badges who know they can get away with whatever they want during those checks.

If that's German for "punk ass bitch" then yes.

Interesting to say the least. Very good to see this happening hope we see much more of this kind of spontaneous action outside of planned actions going forward. You don’t need permission to protest you don’t need to be told when and where to go you can organize your friends and others.

I wonder how @theferocity.bsky.social and @markhamillofficial.bsky.social feel about recently following a vile bully who punches down on disabled folks to make money on Twitter? Cannot imagine they're aware of it.

Hey, @keithedwards.bsky.social, why are you punching down on disabled folks using masks?

This is the same nonsense Schumer and the Democratic consultants want us to believe and, ironically, it's a distraction from what we should focus on. Trump's societal chaos is not a distraction from anything. The chaos is about creating conditions for martial law and authoritarian rule.

PSA for everyone going to protests

Sara's a solid journalist - which is why she's one of the few I follow - but she's not part of the main US media ecosphere. And it is bleak as fuck that we're relying on either billionaire/corporate-captured journalists or social media influencers to inform most Americans during this crisis.

This was the primary plan for Musk and the other authoritarians after Twitter keyed successful anti-authoritarian movements. Also why the ex-twitter bro started Bluesky - separate left from right, spread the middle out between both and make single-tool-coordinated mass movements impossible.

The Department of Energy is trying to get rid of accessibility requirements for new construction via rulemaking. This unprecedented move, which seems to be illegal, could be the blueprint for other federal agencies to follow. New from me at @motherjones.com. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

lol, love it

In a related note, I hit 50 articles published this year today, with 49/50 of them being on issues that directly impact disabled people.

Midnight at O'Hare in the 00's, waiting for my luggage. I see Bo Jackson standing on the other side of the carousel. He sees me see him. I up-nod. He up-nods. It was cool.
