The more I think about the final episode of S3 of WoT the more I think its decisions were shortsighted in a way that will hurt if the show goes on for any longer than 2 more seasons.

Completely eliminated a plotline that the show had set up to carry more weight than the books (which is hard and admirable!) for a very short term emotional pay off.
