Extremely lucky to have seen the #NorthernLights 4 times (3xUK & 1xNorway). Each a very different light show.
High above the Arctic Circle, near Risøyhamn, my twin (it’s her SLR photo) & I were treated to bright green swirling lights for 4 nights. #stormhour #photohour

When we first moved to Shrewsbury back in 2004 we were out walking (to our new local 😉) & saw a ‘net’ of green lights in the distance.
We wondered if it might be a sports ground lit up or a factory lights & thought no more of it. Next day we saw the local news about the #aurora!
