Arlington National Cemetery has scrubbed information about prominent Black, Hispanic and woman service members as a part of a broader effort to remove all references to DEI

Removing references to diversity, equity, and inclusion does a disservice to the diverse heroes who have served, it's essential to honor and acknowledge their contributions.
The cowards that make up this regime will never show honor or respect to those who have served our great nation, made a difference, been a trailblazer because they will always be in the shadow of those who have character, integrity, & courage!
The problem is, this isn’t scrubbing DEI. These people weren’t honored because they were Black, female, or Hispanic — they were honored for what they did for their country.
This is just blatant racism and sexism. That it is being allowed is idiotic. Sue the mutherfucker…
You don’t seem to understand what DEI is. It is not giving preference because of race, gender, ethnicity, age, or sexual orientation. It is making sure that those factors don’t cause them to be ignored.
I’m confused about what part of my statement gave you the idea that this was my thinking. I’m referring to how they translate DEI & what they’re actually doing.
I’ve been through many trainings in my career. I even know the difference between equality and equity. 😂
WHY ARE WE NOT STOPPING THIS??? THIS IS “Our” History!!!
Nothing is off limits! Hundreds of wonderful people actively researched this history and spent hours making it public! We must 👀 everything they do.
Surely the 'broader effort' has little to do with DEI, and more to do with them being massive racists and misogynists? DEI is just their new codeword for that.
It's a national disgrace. Several weeks ago, there was a Black service member that had been indoctrinated... He had some things to say that were off-key. I told him they'd be coming for him first. Now, I wish I hadn't told him that... This is really horrible — I wonder what he thinks now. -ONE.
Not true. Today I took less than 30 min to locate these:
The Tuskegee Airmen page with 37 memorials listed.
These military:
Dr. Anita Newcomb McGee.
Col. Charles Young.
Capt. Joy Bright Hancock.
Gen. Frank E. Petersen Jr.
Rear Adm. Grace Hopper
Brig. Gen. Hazel W. Johnson-Brown
Not exhaustive.
This whitewashing & erasure of our history and contributions to building this country make me wonder how much has been taken from us from past erasure of or history due to similar acts of racism.
Speaking for my white male relatives who are buried there, this is utterly disgraceful and disrespectful and whoever decided this should be subject to general court-martial.
If they didn’t scrub links to prominent white men as well then they are discriminating on the basis of race and sex and are in violation of the civil rights act. Let’s not let them get away with acting like “white” isn’t a race.
Just despicable, shameful and abhorrent. Like the color of blood of those brave selfless people shed for the privileges and freedoms thay we enjoy are any different.
Taking credit away from people who earned it is the opposite of meritocracy. If White straight men can't succeed unless everyone else is held back, they aren't earning anything through their own merit.
Removal of DEI is code for denying all acknowledgement of women and anyone not white. This blatant misogyny and racism needs to be called out for what it is.
I’m at a loss of words to to describe how disgusting this is. What the hell are their demented, racist, minds. The Civil War is our history as is the service of women and blacks.
Who ordered this crap? Must have been that idiot head of Defense who just scrubbed all reference to GAY.
What ever happened when Trump did that photo op at the cemetery and a staffer was pushed or whatever? Swept under the rug? But if it was the Democrats. That pisses me the fuck off.
This makes me so sad. How is it possible that the racist views of the minority are so quickly destroying our country, only to be made back up as a fascist state?
As for Gregor's last reply, not when we block him, he won't. One of his to posts implies he likes provoking it. Red flag spotted, acted on bc trolls tend to be overfed. Save your words for working ears not deliberate agitators. He admits to being one on a post on his account.
what do you mean by "deplatformed"? it's a rando, not someone in a position of power. we can report their account, but that doesn't require engaging with them
trolls only troll to get a reaction. i strongly disagree that ignoring them enables them; my experience has shown the exact opposite
- Lieutenant Kara Spears Hultgreen – The Navy’s first female carrier-based fighter pilot.
- Major Marie Therese Rossi – The first American woman to fly helicopters in combat during Operation Desert Storm.
General Colin L. Powell – The first Black chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
- Justice Thurgood Marshall – The first Black Supreme Court Justice.
- Major General Marcelite Jordan Harris – The Air Force’s first African American woman brigadier general.
America is at best three months away from everyone who wasn't a straight while male being exhumed and the corpses and grave markers simply disappearing.
Let’s stop using their talking points about eliminating DEI and amplify that the point is white supremacy, their only acceptable history is white male history.
They are trying so hard to bait us into getting in the streets.
They really know nothing about Black people. We have always carried our own history and truth.
That's why we knew about Tulsa (and others), and they had to Google after watching a TV show.
Do these numbnuts realize how small their forces would be if they eliminated everyone except cis white men? Also, would love to see anybody in these military roles buck these asinine orders.
I've come to be displeased with Arlington. I didn't appreciate how it handled Trump's disrespect of the place and those interred there when he was allowed to freely produce his propaganda. This current action doesn't surprise me.
This is stupid and self-defeating. It’s hard enough to recruit and keep good military personnel, all if whom have given good service for their country. Why should anyone who is black, hispanic or a woman bother joining up now if their service is treated as something lesser?
It's not even just recruitment. It's hard to maintain subordination for active duty members when there is not trust. Idiots like Hegseth aren't students of history. People forget all the work that had to be done to rebuild military trust after Vietnam.
We need to stop calling it an “effort to remove all references to DEI” & call it what it is:
Effort to frame a white supremacist narrative of history that ignores non white accomplishments & erases references to white supremacist violence, like the reason for the Civil War.
White supremacist violence and discrimination was and seems to remain nothing short of hitler without the gas chambers. And the the discrimination sadly starts at the top. Kamala Harris truly would have sought to lift us all up. We would have been the beacon of hope around the world.

PoS should be banned from ever setting foot in Arlington.

He’s insane, a traitor & has many insane people who work for him.
We can’t be expected to let this go on.
We can’t be expected to let this go on.
We can’t be expected to let this go on.
America is fucked. Totally, Utterly Fucked.
Racist Misogynist Homophobic Xenophobic Ethnocentric Pricks.

2) I can't wait for 50 years from now when we de-nazify the US and this is in the history book of just blatant marginalizing
3) Anyways I'm sure the 8% of the US that wanted this is now happy
Old tactics used in current times.
Bigotry and sexism drive so very much of what they do. They are vile.
It’s an addictive power trip, usually leading to increasingly worse behaviours if left unchecked.

Well it’s current “leaders “ have…
🙁
Trump Orders All Jewish, Black and Female Corpses Removed From Arlington National Cemetery.
In his Executive Order Trump States:
"The presence of Jews, Blacks, and Women at Arlington is Offensive to the Families of White Male Servicemembers Who Truly Protect America."
How do they not get recognition "outside of race"? - and They always try to claim.
