Our manufacturers buy a lot of inputs from China. US manufactured goods will be more expensive. Other countries manufacturers will NOT pay the 125% tariff on their inputs and are thus at a great competitive advantage.

Yes, but the reason we're buying from China in the first place is because China has lower prices. We buy from other countries we generally pay more. Also, can't always import everything you need from 3rd countries.
