You know something that I think is missing from discussion over AI is that limitations are very valuable to creativity. If you can't do something, you can either try to learn how, or you can be inspired to come up with other solutions. Both grow your ability.

A friend went from hyper-realism to expressionism, which appears the inverse of style covering for lack of a skill. He did it because he learned holography which made hyper-realism seem redundant.
I think it's something I think artists understand, but wanted to call it out because gen AI, and an amount of the genpop, people don’t get it.
It's all about the thinking, the planning, the "hhmm..I wonder what happens if.." that happens simultaneously when you're in the flow of creation. And as that saying goes, the first step at getting good at something is to kinda suck at it
Most of the things I do come from these situations, they’re priceless and what makes our human brains flourish, I think.
