Blade Runner mural on the side of Red Cinemas in Greensboro, North Carolina.

I know everything is awful and everybody is broke, but I unfortunately am one of them, so if you or anybody you know is into vintage clothes, I'd appreciate a bookmark: www.floriavintage.com

I haven't watched Brain Powered (ブレンパワード) in forever. Mamoru Nagano (L Gaim, The Five Star Stories) designed the mecha.

Doing my P‘Shop Ansel Adams to Stoneburner. Sometimes Steven would DJ out of my kit and so in one way his set was a set I could have played and in another it was a totally alien ordering of my favourite things. That’s how I feel about Stoneburner/Ego Likeness covers. Turn up the good speakers.

If comic creators were paid a comparative hourly rate to any other profession then comic books would be so expensive as to be completely inaccessible. The way you can sustain affordable and widely-available creative media is through Universal Basic Income, the only other avenues are exploitative.

Editing some photos & deciding if I crop them the way I shot them, or like a normal human would want in their house. Vastly different things. @wired.com did this thing where they added errors to the covers on purpose. That’s my default. I know what regular beauty is & I just CAN’T do it.

Can’t see A Daisy Chain for Satan without putting on A Daisy Chain for Satan

"Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recomendations. Ivanova is God. And, if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out!" — Commander Susan Ivanova

A brief, non-A23-related post - Tomorrow, my wife will be releasing her new album on Metropolis Records. There will be a listening party on Bandcamp tonight if you want to check it out ahead of time! Hope you can make it! marikattman.bandcamp.com/merch/year-o...

coolest thing that's happened in The Building in years www.oregonlive.com/politics/202...

That is an impressive explosion.

DC & Marvel hero comics have been boring for decades and almost everyone who posted in the thread should read more things without X-, Bat-, or Spider- in the title.

For those of you too young to remember the LA riots after the police that beat Rodney King on camera were let off, I would reccomend the audio book of "The Ice Opinion" by Ice-T. The unrest then and now were different in the following ways:

Between 1920s & 60s, 796 children between 36 weeks gestation and 3-years-old were buried in a septic pit at the Catholic workhouse.

Without saying your age, who was your first animated crush?

"Cobra’s a snake, and snake is sneak spelled sideways.” —Duke, In the Cobra’s Pit I had GI Joe: The Revenge of Cobra (AKA Weather Dominator) on yesterday. It’s better written than I expected. Yes, ridiculous. But way better than the regular series. Animated on par with contemporary OVAs.

I’ll watch any version of Inital D. #H22A #tuning

All the cool American customers will be trying to get JDM parts. Wishing they could get a right-hand drive.

[Call your senator] If you have a Democratic senator, call them to oppose the potential Medicaid ban on medical transition care. Yea, your DEMOCRATIC Senator, because many of them are telling reporters, “I don’t know anything about it.” #uspol #transrights #transgender

While Evangelical Christians are the biggest terrorist, both mainstream white Catholic and Protestant rate over 50% support for accidentally maiming and killing. Atheists are either dumped in with “Religiously unaffiliated 33%” or not represented.
