I do, and will, not have the money for this. It's more expensive than the 01, but more detail & flash too.

another article on the same incident, in english; we all love Large Gollum though so I'm glad this misunderstanding happened www.thepopverse.com/jrr-tolkien-...

Because my drawing table is so delightful enormous I’ve taken to putting a page on it that I can just write and draw stuff on. Like a giant post it.

Doing my P‘Shop Ansel Adams to Stoneburner. Sometimes Steven would DJ out of my kit and so in one way his set was a set I could have played and in another it was a totally alien ordering of my favourite things. That’s how I feel about Stoneburner/Ego Likeness covers. Turn up the good speakers.

If comic creators were paid a comparative hourly rate to any other profession then comic books would be so expensive as to be completely inaccessible. The way you can sustain affordable and widely-available creative media is through Universal Basic Income, the only other avenues are exploitative.

Editing some photos & deciding if I crop them the way I shot them, or like a normal human would want in their house. Vastly different things. @wired.com did this thing where they added errors to the covers on purpose. That’s my default. I know what regular beauty is & I just CAN’T do it.

That is an impressive explosion.

DC & Marvel hero comics have been boring for decades and almost everyone who posted in the thread should read more things without X-, Bat-, or Spider- in the title.

For those of you too young to remember the LA riots after the police that beat Rodney King on camera were let off, I would reccomend the audio book of "The Ice Opinion" by Ice-T. The unrest then and now were different in the following ways:

Between 1920s & 60s, 796 children between 36 weeks gestation and 3-years-old were buried in a septic pit at the Catholic workhouse.
