Terrence Malicks’ A Hidden Life is exactly what I needed. Took me over five years to see it, but cinema is patient. His marriage of music/sounds and imagery is so soothing, the spirituality never cloying. It’s all just /right/. It’s a story we need now (more than in 2019) as well.
