Depends on where you live I guess. I live in southern Spain and I've learned to despise the brutal Spanish summers over the years. The other 8 months of the year are great, the summers suck.
autumn was nice for a few days. kickable piles of golden leaves. they're all slippery mush now though... but OTOH i'm sleeping great because at least it's not twenty bloody degrees at night... 😅
One beautiful day I was in the garden of a relative in the States - high 20s, fresh air, blue sky. The kind of day we're lucky to get a dozen of a year in the UK. I made this observation, and the answer was they were lucky to have even one.

Maybe population exchanges haven't had a fair run of it. Can do it in stages maybe, but all of us who want to go outside comfortably and enjoy beautiful weather move south, all the madmen can come to north of the alps
