im curious - how much do y'all have on your c drives? I have 465 GB and with all my art and streaming crud, it is constantly almost full. I'm contemplating if in the new year I should completely wipe my PC and upgrade it. I can back up my streaming stuff but it'd be a pain to set it all up again weh

And getting two separate drives. One for Art and one for Games. So that way you'll always have something. ☺️
So basically, yes mine is also constantly almost full
It's got similar resiliency, except it behaves more like a USB hard disk, instead of like a file server on your network.
really need to get an additional hard drive soon lol
I throw all my pics and backup files on it
2x12TB drives in RAID, plus a combined 4 (1+3TB) working split partition on two other drives, plus a 512GB NVMe cache. Whew.
You don’t need to go that crazy with a build, obviously, but I think that grabbing some decommissioned server drives could make for a relatively cheap build.
Main PC has 6TB of PCIe Gen5 NVMe storage over 4 drives, but nothing is stored on it other than odd game & project files (which get moved once finished)
Thinking of getting a NAS tbh since I've been saving a lot more local video.
Also, my 2TB is maxed out and my old hard drive is too. I hoard data like a dragon hoards gold.
I don’t know how the fuck is that thing still chugging along.
To be fair I do have a crapton of Hard Drives but still
I have a 3tb hdd but I need to reconnect it
...C drive is 2 TB, and I have three other drives that add up to another 3.5 TB, and then I have a NAS with 55 TB of free space on it.
I'm a bit of an outlier. Want me to walk you through making a NAS? It's easy and pretty fun?
Could I use more? Always. Is 3TB enough for me to operate comfortably within? For sure.
250gb on my main. (512gb)
a mix of work, class crap, virtual machines, development tools, and games.
dont wanna deal with all of the file links that are gonna break when i move folders around orz
Are they all HDDs? Because no way I would get all of that as SSDs
but I have a 2nd drive I throw most things on
Windows is special and needs a lot of room to swing around its arms.
