So, for a nice, chilly New England Sunday, I have a nice story that is completely unrelated to politics.
I live in smallish town, where people get to know you over the years as you do business with them. And we always get our Christmas tree from the same tree farm. But they sell out fast. /1

These are young and burly and very busy tree farm guys. Like many New Englanders, not big talkers. But they get it about kids. :)

At one point I went to look at how it was going. The installers handed me some tiny kids' bird drawings. They had very carefully untaped them from the old window.

them same place every year as well. It’s so nice to catch up with the owners, workers, and other customers we see every year 🎄🎄🎄

Cats win, every time.
(We've gone to the same Xmas tree place for years. Not the biggest or cheapest, but they are genuinely great people. And they have the best trees. Really.)
It's awesome, but I've never met a city guy looking for a small town girl while buying a tree 🤷♀️
I really needed to hear something good about humanity. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s exactly what I needed to hear. 💙
for a Christmas movie next year...
