I'm curious, curious about how allowance of these cuts and making that number significantly higher would be a net benefit.
Nearly every policy performed in some fashion is done as a means of *reduction*, not elimination. Because elimination is nigh impossible.
Much of what you are experiencing is insurance agencies trying to maintain margins, as well as private equity having seized multiple medical sectors.
A fully private system with no regulation would -
Supplemental private insurance could then be used for more specialized care.
Cementing a nation HC system would rectify major complaints like this.
