Yup. The three Dem vacancies really just meant 2 Republicans got a pass to not vote for the bill.
If there had been 215 Dems the final vote would’ve been 216 -215, 217-216 or 218-217.
It’s still horrible that they have those vacancies, of course.

Talking about how there were two votes missing when there were two people who didn't vote specifically for that reason who would have voted yes anyway is another way to get shitty clickbait resistrash accounts to get you to blame Democrats. Some of you fall will fall it anyway.

Doesn't matter if that 215 is full of 35 year olds or 85 year olds.
The "Democrats" actually to blame are the voters who decided that they couldn't vote for a Black woman for whatever imaginary reason they thought mattered more than Medicare and medicaid.
It has nothing to do with age, or cancer, or messaging, or even policy.
It has to do with math.
Voters are getting exactly what they wanted, a Republican controlled government.

Math says three dead Democrats can’t vote, sometimes aging members don’t vote. Republicans are not always united and don’t always show up.
You don't understand.
They don't care if they kill their voters because the remaining ones will shoot their own families before voting for anyone with anything other than an R after their name.
The only thing they fear is a primary.
Nay OH – 8 R Davidson, Warren
No Vote NY – 2 R Garbarino, Andrew
Present MD – 1 R Harris, Andy
No Vote AZ – 1 R Schweikert, David
Even with public pressure it seemed like that didn't move the needle on the GOP to vote no...
