Surprised ours isn't called the Keystone Klash or some similar nonsense. Phils-Bucs used to be a rivalry, especially in the late '70s, but hasn't been since they left the NL East 30 years ago. Now, it's more an easy road trip for fans.

The Ohio Cup actually has some history. Before interleague play, the Reds and Indians used to play for it in an exhibition game at Cooper Stadium in Columbus the day before Opening Day. Then it started getting awarded to whoever won the season series, once interleague started

True story though: when the Expos were around but before inter league play they’d play an exhibition game called the Pearson Cup (named after the guy who was PM when the Expos debuted). If the Expos were still around this series would sincerely be called that.
