The important thing to keep in mind is that you are poor because of personal failures and weak will, not in any way because of systemic issues, don't think about those or look into them at all.
Some of my friends did just as much "right" as I did. Quite a few did more right. I'm lucky enough to have a job now that can pay for a household with just my income.
And that's exactly what it is. Luck. I'm lucky, and nothing more. I didn't work so much harder than other people.
Education is very useful but let’s be honest most people doing office jobs certainly did not need to be educated for 16 years to do that shit. It’s charging you tens of thousands of dollars for a piece of paper basically to get a job that you absolutely could have done without that education
Most people who work as a secretary currently do not have a college degree. However, most jobs postings for companies hiring a secretary will say “requires college degree”. The barrier to entry is higher.
Public colleges should be free, full stop. Also, people need to get over their snobbery about community colleges. My local one charges $46/credit, and those credits are generally transferable to local public universities if a student decides to go for a bachelor's. No reason to go broke doing GECs.
I speak from experience getting a fashion design degree where I was taught all manual drafting. Now it's just generated on CAD and printed. None of my skills wee relevant 2 years after graduating.
STEM worked out well enough for me, though during school tons of my friends who never went to college were well off (sales, generally and trades), and they are still well off. People should set up expectations better or better understand the job market post-degree.
You were smug and dismissive of a whole lot of peopels lived experience and basically blamed them for a broken system. You can fuck off. No one needs to include a smug cockface.
It is not dismissive, it is acknowledging a reality that is being pointed out by OP by inspecting the possible causes. That is how discussions work. You are simply insisting I am being dismissive which I am not, instead of explaining anything you want state.
Unsure what you mean, life is difficult period. To pretend though, there are not causes to that create suffering, more or less, from a result of choices, only increases the probable difficulty one experiences. Many people want hold beliefs about actions similar to how children hold beliefs.
The people who started college, took out student loans, but did not graduate. They have it the bad. Student debt without the degree to boost their income. The only people who have it worse is for-profit graduates who took loans for more years of school, for a degree nobody respects.

2005-2015 was 10 years but think about the shift between windows XP and windows 10.
But yeah it was pretty much useless by 2003.
You don’t even know me and want to assume. Absolute aprofundity BS from someone that cares not to speak of issues, instead choosing personal attacks.
Make better choices!
