Greatest show ever and the reason I got into radio. Turned out that it was actually pretty true to life before deregulation created corporate radio … and ruined the business.
That episode is getting to be as much of a Thanksgiving tradition as pumpkin pie. I loved Les Nessman's reporting like the Hindenburg went down and the store manager, who didn't seem to care about all the Buckeye Newshawk Awards, making him move.
