Average price of a new car in the US is $49k. You can’t afford a NEW car. Lots of people can’t. As used electric cars become cheaper - the R2 is 45k brand new - it will benefit you as well.

They also have a r3 in their plans that looks like a hatchback & smaller than r2, so I suspect that may get near 35-40? I just checked they don’t have that listed yet, but have r2 starting at 45k in 2026. Plus there may be incentives as EV, but orange may have gutted that, not sure.
