Didn’t come up (I can follow up and ask). The PO did pitch the DATA and STAR and LIFE grant programs. Also said that many grant RFPs will highlight AI but this is loosely defined so don’t rule these out

I’m trying to conceive of what survives under proposed 70% cuts to environmental biology.
It takes long-term, dedicated data collection to monitor the changing planet.
And I remember president “I like the numbers where they are” refusing to repatriate COVID victims from a cruise ship.

The PO we talked to was optimistic that Congress would come through with funding for NSF despite Trumps request for major cuts.
