Answer one is clearly correct here. Answer two is acceptable if your school is large enough to often have duplicate initials. The final answers are madness.

On top of that, they don't stay in the even/odd classes as they move up.
I can never remember which class they're in.
It's really not hard to remember a name for a year.
My argument is that human beings are more than capable of learning a name to use for something for a year.
I can easily recognise those birds now in nature.
How does a parent member if their kid is in Ash or Rown? The same way they remember if the teacher's name.
I expect a large difference between primary & secondary tho.
It helps create that sense of tribe.
I know in your view this is unacceptable but it works for us .
