We might be quite similar then I love Kimberly and I've found the Empyrean series to be going down a star each one I read. I thought onyx storm was just okay but if the next one sucks as much I'm out 😂

Agree, each book became progressively worse. Which is really unfortunate. I was fine with continuing the mediocre storytelling until I read the last chapter. I don't know why, but I don't see finding out what happened in those 12 hours will be eventful.
