I'm still on my reading kick! I am in love with the Mead Mishaps series. If an author could be my spirit animal it may be Kimberly Lemming. I enjoyed her writing style and bluntness. The language is modern. I mean, the 2nd book is called That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf.

Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean series. I finished Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. I'm on a wait-list for Onyx Storm. I'm not really vibing with the series. I'm intrigued by the world, and that's pretty much it. There are no characters I'm rooting for. The 👀 scenes are more like "huh, alright" for me. Cont.

Reading update! I finished House of Flame and Shadow. The conclusion was solid, and would have been a good way to end the series. Alas, there's a 4th on the way. I'm not excited for it. She could have also not started the series and left House of Earth and Blood as a single. So... Who knows!

Any reading homies out there? I read House of Earth and Blood and House of Sky and Breath. I'm starting House of Flame and Shadow. Sarah J Maas is... Not a great writer. BUT she's created a really interesting world and fantastic characters. So I'm enduring. She is great at writing smut scenes tho.

Anime wrap-up time! I finished Code Geass, and holy hell was that a fantastic ride. The pacing is not the best, and Suzaku can rot in a dumpster fire, but I really enjoyed it. Thanks @helexzura.bsky.social! I want to watch the movies now, but they're only sub, so I gotta make some time for that.

Yes! Get yourself a library card! The system I used in OH was fantastic, and had a great assortment of video games, graphic novels, manga, movies, and tablets! The system in FL is not as great but they do offer passes to various places/events.

I love the roast function on my air fryer! Fish, chicken, pork, steak, it all cooks beautifully. As long as you know the proper temperature. And time. Ninja appliances aren't omniscient. Yet.
