People showing surprise that I should believe in inclusivity when the book I wrote 25 years ago is literally ALL ABOUT INCLUSIVITY really haven’t been paying attention…

I’ve been listening to the Audible version. It’s so delightful to hear the author read their own novel. I now get nuance that I might otherwise have missed.
First day on a new platform and delighted to see someone I know! So glad the shed will be appearing on this platform, I have missed it since abandoning that other place!
Believe in what you know. It helps that way when you know what you are talking about. Duh. Include the title so I can check it out. Otherwise, 'inclusivity' brings up all kinds of things when I do an Internet search. And I have no idea which one is yours. Cobwebs on the brain again. Mornings.
No. Everything but. Found mention of inclusivity in job description but not book title. Lots of other book titles & was perusing them all to see if I could single it out.
She didn't say her book had inclusivity in the title. Social media seems to cause us to rush our reading, so I get it, but she's referring to content, not title. The book is Chocolat, it's a pretty good read.
As a writer or any public person, people are happy for you to have an opinion, as long as it coincides with theirs. Otherwise, they want you to keep quiet, keep writing and “stick to your lane.”
Thought for today, quote from famous author James Baldwin : "We can agree to disagree and still love each other, unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist ". This sums up how I feel about the outcome of this election. 😀
