I don't get why so many people think ADOLESCENCE is exceptional. It's good in parts; it means well; the last ep is self-indulgent, but the setup is sound; but to me, the main weakness is that we learn absolutely nothing about the victim, or her family, or their grief: it's still ALL about the boys.

My son also believes no one under 16 sld have access to social media - & that companies...
Son barely uses social media but was always shocked how quickly Andrew Tate material appeared in his feed once algorithms worked out he was young & male.

Ep 3 w the psychologist blew me away
She's a brilliant actress; at a couple of points you could see her reliving her own traumatic experiences at the hands of boys.
He needed to make himself bigger than her by standing over her. There’s just so much going on in the entire 4 part series. I was often overwhelmed and felt myself struggling
Not just running around destroying things, but taking responsibility for their actions and doing their best to put things right. Ged does it in a A Wizard of Earthsea. Let’s have more of that.
