Just a bit of a question for my followers who are more into Delves as their endgame: They recently introduced a quest from Delves that is supposed to incentivize you to try out M+. If you don't do M+, did this quest compel you to do so? If not, what's the reason? Very curious :) - ThreadSky

Delves are more of a secondary end game since I raid mythic, but s1 was the first I didn't get KSM since early BFA, and with t11 gildeds I haven't done a key at all in s2. The quest was tempting, but with the crest cap coming off next week / being able to trade up, the temptation was short lived.

I did +2 cuz I needed the gilded crests to finish upgrading a piece and I hated every second of it. The group was awful and it took forever. I will never understand the appeal of M+

It did not. I've been basically using delves as my weekly WoW playtime. I'll occasionally do M+ when a friend asks me to join them but that's independent of this quest.

Absolutely not. Pugging keys is a social nightmare I simply do not have time for, which is why I run delves in the first place. While I understand what they're trying to do with the quest, it made me feel resentful that they're trying to interject content I specifically avoid into content I enjoy.

If you're in the end game content, I think it is safe to say that even as a new player you can easily find out what M+ is and decide on your own if you'd like to participate without adding carrot and stick quests in other content.

The fact it only dropped in delves instead of having equivalent quests for delves, raids, etc dropping in other content to encourage players to branch out simply made it feel as if they're trying to funnel players into M+ content as well. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

the item appeared in my bags, I literally said "no thanks" out loud. And the item is still in my bags unused.

I do not like M+,don't find them fun. Throwing this sort of quest at me will not change that, and is actually more irritating than anything. I know that content is there, and I choose not to engage with it. It is counter to their newer philosophy of letting people play how they like as well.

No, I was actually just dipping my toes into mythic+ and this forced feeling that specifically reminded me how stingy they're being with gilded crests in delves pissed me off so much I haven't tried mythic+ since.

No, I did not feel compelled at all. I only hero/aotc raid with my guild, and do high level delves to fill in the gaps.

I know what mythic dungeons are, I completed them a lot in DF but don't feel like going back now, the time limit is not fun to me personally.

i'm someone who has only felt like doing keys for the ksm mount and since dragonflight i continue to push the ksm effort closer and closer to the end of the season. not sure if i even care anymore since delves have been way more worth the effort for me despite not having the ksm mount attached to it

even then last season i felt like doing keys just to be able to get gilded crests for mythic appearances and now i can just do that in delves!! this wouldn't entice me to do it just for the crests

I really enjoyed the attempt honestly. I hadn't had a chance to do it yet due to limited playtime where delves are more convenient, but as a way to encourage folks to enjoy different styles of content I liked it.

I want to try M+, but my play schedule is erratic at best. Delves are the best I can muster for a challenge regularly.

It did not. I never liked M+ and only did it with friends. Since pretty much everyone left, I'm not going to pug content I don't like, specially as a tank.

I really dislike M+ and attempts to bait players into content they don’t enjoy always feels condescending. Like, we already know what the content is like and choose not to do it and this one thing isn’t going to magically change our minds.

Definitely makes me want to do M+ on my alts not just my main

It’s nice to see them using the carrot of crests rather than the stick of raising the M+ level that rewards gilded crests

M+ won’t be for everyone but I think it’s a good idea to at least introduce ppl to it w/ a reward like this
