If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.

They won’t deport them, but keep them working for a dollar a day as slave labor. These detention facilities will supply cheap labor/slaves to Republican donors farms and factories who will then send crypto to the administration. That’s why they’re rounding up the laborers and not criminals.

We are building a murder machine at scale. This is some serious Clockwork Orange solution to crime. It's a federal secret police force emphasizing the worst aspects of local policing (anti gang task force +SWAT). It also appears to be independent of any oversight.
