Parts of this preprint are super cool like this figure. But the use of the Bravo and Astral makes me want to write a preprint entitled "How to consistently commute to work in 3.4 seconds using a McLaren Speedtail and a professional F1 driver"
It would be nice to see what the platform performance over time is like with little/no SPE clean up. How long is sensitivity maintained? How many columns used?
Yeah I think the key is to avoid offline SPE at this scale. The Evotip functions as a StageTip. This was on a single instrument or multiple? When to change ion transfer tube/callibrate/clean is what I think about when we are running large studies (~500 samples or less haha).
Yeah - you can dump some serious crap on an evotip. It also never sees more than 30% ACN on tip (or close) so a lot of lipids stay in it when it goes to trash
My jet lagged red eye brain just realized 311 x 100 is way less than 36,000 and now I’m questioning both my ability to do arithmetic and other things….
Pretty sure it must be these samples. Would have to check my notes but saw him present a few weeks back and say that had finished collecting the ~40k samples of data
