The most horrifying thing to me, a lifelong activist, is that Americans aren't boiling over yet. Denial runs deep. Most are still looking to usual means that can never work against our total destruction.

Turkey is logistically easier to gather a robust crowd this size than it is here. Flying to DC and lodging is an issue, especially for ppl who don’t have the luxury of traveling like that. I live in Oregon and have been attending protests in Salem at our capitol. #ToneDeafAF

I February 2022 thousands of truckers descended on Ottawa, effectively paralysing our capital for a month. Blockades all over the country, including border crossings. They ran their rigs thousands of miles to get there, many of them losing their livelyhood. 1/2
