Mmm, that is difficult. But it is also long unfortunately. 80-120 is usually the recommendation on fantasy. You could try and make it a series.

It's the fact that fantasy is often 120k that made me think the word count limit was silly. I know why they've done it. Judges only have so much time. But it excludes so many fantasy books.

Mine were 50-60K each! LOL - but many are that long, but I know most publishers cap at 120K.

I wish I could write shorter books. Most fantasy I read is way longer than 120k so it’s ingrained in me.
