Hugely relieved that the mysterious hospital appointment I've been given in July is the pre-op set-up for my cataract surgery, not a wid goose chase after something else.
(It means I can have my eyeballs stabbed by the NHS instead of paying through the nose to be stabbed privately.)

Good luck to you!
The honest answer was that I got an appointment letter, but we got it sorted in the end.
May it all lead to a great improvement for your eyes and you.
Mine changed my life (for the better, even)
Very happy with the overall results and lack of problems. Worst thing was doing drops for 5 weeks by myself.
Consultation/pre-op/ operation all whizzing past in three weeks.
I love the NHS (obviously) but it is weird at times.
You’re going to get plenty of practice in self-administering eyedrops.
When you’ve had one eye done, very noticeable the difference between the two, when everything looks brown with the eye that hasn’t been done yet.
And then you can tell the difference between navy blue and black without having to take things outside.
Hope it's uneventful
Also, are you nervous for your cataract surgery? Stabs in the eye make me really uncomfortable...
I've suddenly joined the diabetes club, so I'll need to get my eyes peered at soon as well.
Good luck with the surgery!
