Using the U.S. flag as a pocket square violates the U.S. Flag Code, which discourages wearing it as apparel. When Hegseth—a former officer—does it, it’s not just fashion. It trivializes a symbol of sacrifice, one he should deeply understand.

It seems to be accepted practice to “wear” our flag. I was taught in school and in the military it’s disrespectful. Yet every MAGA event is crowded w so many people wearing the flag.
When you’re hollow inside, clueless about your country, and desperate to matter, wrapping yourself in a flag feels like purpose. It’s not patriotism — it’s cosplay for the brainless.
The stupid fck. wears an 'Iron Cross' on his chest. Do you really believes he cares one iota about the American flag? You Sir, have nailed donald trump and you can take his entire Cabinet and sum it up in that worthless individual called a Hegseth.
The Nation is extremely ill. Look at the Pres..
We are all presuming, that man child has a brain and is capable of critical thinking. But as the actions of the last few weeks have shown… neither exists in Hegseth’s orbit 🤦🏼♀️

So this is not at all surprising. The American flag is a piece of fashion. That you wear in your pocket. Barely noticeable.
They care nothing for the flag code yet claim to love the flag more than anyone.
In truth, these people do not love America and all her peoples. They just hate other countries.
That’s why they’re “nationalists” and not patriots.
