I feel sick. I feel angry. I feel so, so sad.
What a legacy, @albomp.bsky.social.
I'll NEVER forgive what you've done to this country and our future.

@voxpoplabs.bsky.social (with ABC supports to increase its reach) as they mislead a million voters as they outlined in their tool that labor will do “somewhat more” on climate change. Wonder if they will lie to voters come the next election. I hope not.
😠☹️
The same will come for Gas, latest of all the fossil fuels in all likelihood but it’s coming.
Albanese is a climate criminal
WTF ?!
We really are dumb.
Pretty much every vote the ALP got to seal its “historic win” via preferences past their 34% primary vote was from people who didn’t want the LNP but wanted better than just Shit Lite.
We got it anyway.
That is the job of government.
You are what you do not what you say.
Your argument ignored the reality of bicameral government. He's there in power, but without majority control of both houses, policies are more of a compromise, or they don't pursue something they know will fail.
It was well publicised that the previous environment minister had negotiated an agreement with the greens in establishing an EPA only for the PM to scupper the deal.
Now let's see what happens on the new term.
Again, I'm not excusing anything. But I did work for a few years in a context that let me peek behind the curtain of politics. It's brutal.

Has everyone finally accepted it doesn’t work?
Wasn’t CCS part of the original approval for this gas field? #auspol
Yes, I recall CCS was part of the original approval, too, Dick.

With a flick of a pen, both our human heritage and our human future damaged 😔
There is a reason that for the first time in my life I voted informally in the HoR. I could not bring myself to preference any party that would not take REAL action on climate change
I scrutineered and was surprised some Green voters put the LNP second above the Independent who came second.
Unfortunately Greens had few volunteers in Groom.
Voted Labor in 2022, but due to immense disappointment in our government voted Teal/Green this time round.
Will we ever have politicians who stand up for more than the mighty $?
Woodside will see him right 😡
They've sold us down the river.
Now let's tax the shit out of all Woodside gas exported so that it becomes uneconomical and is forced to close. 97.5% tax.
This is the only option left.
Day after day after day after day.
Every interview has to start with "thx for having me, now let's talk about using resources taxes, particularly on gas & coal, to fund....".
One has to try.
Sadly, as an independent, Fatima gets little opportunity to front the cameras.
He is on their side.
The decision was deliberately postponed until after the election.
Gloves off amid a huge FU to environmentalists... And Indigenous Australians.
The impunity that comes from a landslide win and a pretended mandate.
-When a minority govt passed record legislation
-When an influx of young voters registered for the SSM vote.
-When the entire eastern seaboard was aflame.
Yet, nothing seems to sway voters beyond narrow self-interest.
#UneasyAboutAlbanese
Sadly
The insult to indigenous culture.
The rejection of climate action.
So bloody furious.
Second term, so far its the same😒
It is all going to be shipped straight offshore to countries who will on-sell it for a handsome profit.
We truly are the dumbest country on the face of the planet.
Maybe I have different values
Maybe they are just good money managers and astute investors?
Although, Occam's Razor implies a simpler, more obvious, cause - bribery and corruption.
Why else would you so willingly sell-out the people you are paid to represent?
Politicians no longer run the country - it is all just a show to fool the ignorant public.
The real power running Australia are the billionaires and multinational corporations, stripping the place bare, piece-by-piece.
Horrific use of a so-called mandate.
Labor had no where to hide on climate now
The floods, the droughts, the oceans choking on algae are all on them now
Explain, @albomp.bsky.social how could you destroy hopes of a happy healthy future for young people around the whole world?
I genuinely don’t understand why on earth this has turned out his way
Unconscionable
Absolutely unconscionable
Labor is almost as bad as Liberal...both are ruled by the Mighty $$$$$$$.
So here we are.
Write to the minister now - be heard - let them know you disagree
We must not forget this, nor the new coal mines, the deforestation and the Tassie salmon farms. I'm sure there is more.
