It is a calm respite in our turbulent world.
The experience I had as a five-year-old in my home town library turn me onto reading for the rest of my life. I now share my lover reading with 100s of students that I teach.
One of my dearest friends is a retired librarian. She is one of the smartest and well read people i know.
