An upside of unemployment is that I no longer have to hear "utilize" "definitively" "fortuitous" or any of the other words seemingly invented only to insert extra syllables into the English language

The use of "utilize" is a giant warning that whatever contains it is garbage. I think their might be a few technical contexts where "utilization" is legit, like in queueing theory, but maybe not even there.
