Buluc's Mansion in Payday 2. Spent an hour looking by flashlight for a black binder in an unlit room at night while cops are kicking in the windows trying to see who can put me in a body bag first.
One more then syndrome for me when I play civ. It’s let me just set this up first, and maybe finish establishing this city, and oh what’s up with this bright light outsi—oh no
Baldur's Gate 3. Every time I fire it up it's like "Well let's go back and make a new character and just see what happens" and then an hour in, I'm addicted and all other things don't exist
When I became comfortable lowering the difficulty of a game instead of fruitlessly failing the same mission for hours on end…it felt like leaving Neverland. Except better because I started enjoying games again lol

I didn't realize this dungeon was going to take 1.5 hours and now we're stuck on this boss and my husband is going to be home any minute and I was going to watch the hockey game but... I have potions left so One More Try!
