I've just about finished Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl by Andrea Lawlor. It has opened my eyes to how queerness can exist in the fictional world of my story and how those complex feelings can be communicated with literary care. If I can exhibit even a fraction of Lawlor's care, I'll be proud.

Queerness exists and is perhaps as common as it is in our own world. Also like our world, there are those who do not want to see it. Reginald's story is one of seeing what queerness IS and how we come to terms with it within ourselves despite what others may think or believe.

It's pride month, please go out there and support queer artists and that doesn't even mean with money. There are so many indie folks out there with shit that is free that you can enjoy. Just check out there stuff and tell them what you like. Foster and grow your community through tending to it.

Question for #WritingCommunity folks: how do you track your poetry submissions? I've used ChillSubs and Submission Grinder. Have tried to only log 1 submission for a "packet" of poems to each outlet. Have tried logging each individual poem to each outlet, but it's kinda messy. Thoughts?
