As I understand it, there's currently no level where GenAI is not somehow using data that's been stolen.
I do wonder what the financial realities of proper licensing and use would look like. It'd be an infrastructure required of any system of ethical use (which I hope will someday be legislated).

Absolutely. If an artist is making the base thing, that's what counts. There's this line between the human, creative mind and the tool they use that is (I'd argue) incredibly clear.

Proc-gen is similar technology and while some experiments are more successful than others, it's difficult to entertain that it isn't *interesting* tech.
