Now this is heartbreaking...

it breaks your heart, which takes longer than downloading 8 MB nowadays... xD

Even if you got the whole thing; error checking often missed the glitches 🤬

That's what PirateBay was made for!

You'd go through all five stages of grief for downloads like that

Doubly so when you had one of those download managers running but the site didn't support them...

I remember moving a codebase via modem and Kermit and it took forever but it got done. Where did Kermit go? :)

He went on to host Muppets Tonight I think
