He is a top-5 player in the NBA every year and never does anything to screw up his team. He's a gift to the city of Boston and to the NBA, and I hope he comes back better than ever and wins 10 more titles.

He also plays, constantly. In 6 full (non-COVID) seasons, the fewest regular season games he'd played was 72 (compare that to KD, who'd played that many games once since the 2018-19 season) and (I think) this season was the first one he missed any playoff games.

Bucks fan here. I hope he doesn’t win any more titles, but I agree with everything else. What an awesome player to watch and how awful it is that he suffered this injury. After a game a few years back I met his mom and then my father-in-law held his baby. When JT came out, he was the nicest guy.

I agree with this sentiment, and wish him the best, but - at the risk of sounding like a GM-brained dork - the Celtics are going to be ruined by the salary cap* next year. I don't see how it works out good for Tatum or Boston...
