omg trans hiccup instantly makes sense to me! (why his body type is so different than his father's, and his willingness to rebel against norms, for example)

It became my fav movie for a long time before I even understood why I loved it so much…until I watched for the first time after coming out. I mean, a kid trying to fit in with everyone else despite his obvious differences, befriending Toothless in secret, his father disowning him?? Rang true for me.
