Guy who talks about the warrior class looks like he'd prey on the girlfriends of the kids straight out of highschool he intends to send to die somewhere while he stays home bc he has a doctor's note.
To be charitable most of the treaties and rules we have about mines are about anti- personnel mines. In a game theory sense, these sorts of concerns about human input are going to evaporate on a peer vs peer scale of war.
But I need this in order to realize my dream of becoming the “guy from a warrior culture that follows his people’s code of honor” It’s one of my favorite sci-fi tropes.
I think that most "warrior classes" historically implemented violence with reluctance since they were the ones fighting and "war is hell".
