Think I may be cursed. Having missed it last week because my Dublin hotel's telly didn't have it, I lost most of last night's because Storm Daragh left my plane sitting on a Kerry runway for over an hour. Frantically watched bits on a laptop on the Stansted express. Catching up now in Bermondsey.

A rather straight-talking, mince no words* (*British understatement alert) distant relative of mine has been yelling "fix" for weeks re the judging. They're terminally ill so we're all being very patient as #Strictly is a passion but .... This whole season has been odd. BBC scared by bad news?

Haha, love the understatement. ☺️ It has felt fixed quite a few times over the years, but for some reason this year it’s been the most blatant, imho. Judges’ favouritism or Producers meddling? Maybe both? Very annoying for the viewer, either way.

It feels to me like production influence; bad PR so everyone be more pleasant (with confusing messaging) plus pro diversity (Rose and Chris huge hits, love them) but is it a competition or light entertainment, do they know? People get v invested (ahem, ☺️🙌) then don't like voting outcomes! #Strictly

Exactly; I think it’s all got very confused. What I don’t like is the Judges favouritism, their tenuous & nonsensical reasons for overmarking some people/keeping them, & the effect that has on the leaderboard.
